White Rock Large Items: What the City Will — and Won’t — Pick Up

White Rock Does Not Offer Curbside Large-Item Pickup

As of September 2026, the City of White Rock says large and special items are not picked up as part of its curbside collection program. Instead, the City directs residents to appropriate drop-off depots.

The City’s large-and-special-item information covers bulky or difficult-to-recycle materials, and its waste information points residents to alternate disposal or recycling options for items such as mattresses, furniture, electronics and other large materials.

What Regular White Rock Garbage Collection Covers

White Rock’s regular curbside garbage service is based on household garbage bins rather than bulky-item collection. The City says it will collect up to two garbage bins per unit, with each container limited to 110 litres and 22 kg / 50 lb.

Extra garbage stickers are available for eligible excess bagged trash, but that does not turn the regular service into a large-item pickup program.
